The Wig Company - Blatant Deception
March 3rd 2019 or close to, I purchased two wigs from TWC (The Wig Company). I received the wigs and tried them on with my wig cap.
They were too small (despite the fact that I ordered the large), so I replaced them in their original packing, paper, nets with tags and labels intact and original boxes. Took them to UPS and returned them. On March 8th I got a letter that refused to refund my money (despite their guaranteed satisfaction claim) because they "determined the items were no longer in original factory condition". They implied I wore or altered the wigs, removed tags, possibly exposed to hairspray, cigarette smoke or perfume etc.
None of these things happened; patently untrue. So I wrote them a long letter via email and explained they were mistaken and may have gotten my order mixed up with someone else's since I returned the items in their original state. I called them on March 13th and spent 11 mins on hold with the robot stating "your wait time is 1 min" over and over. At 11 plus mins the call was dropped.
I thought it was a mistake so I called back again. The exact same thing happened, at 11 mins the call dropped. I was furious. So I waited a week or so expecting a response to my email.
None came. I went on their customer service website, and discovered it's under reconstruction to be back "better and more beautiful soon". What a crock. I am seeking my $70 plus dollars back and will not do business with this company again.
Help if you can. Thank you.
